Q: How do I find out if the orchestra is available for my event date?

Simply contact Chicago Rhythm Review at our office (630) 323-4623 and we will let you know if your date is available.

Q: Can I see the orchestra live before I book the band?

On certain occasions, where it has been cleared with our client, you may check out our band live. Out of respect for our other clients' private parties, we do not invite prospective clients without their consent. We hope you will listen to our CD, read our literature, and contact previous clients for references to help make your decision.


Q. Can you mail me an info package and CD?

We would be happy to send you a promo kit that includes a CD, song lists, press clippings, testimonial and photos. You can call us at (630)323-4623 or email us your name, phone number, address, event date and description of your event.

Q. How far away from Chicago do you travel?

We have played as far west as Galena, IL, as far north as Madison, WI and as far South as Bloomington, IL. Traveling fees will apply for locations over 50 miles from Chicago.

Q. Do you perform wedding ceremony music?

Yes. We offer various instrumentation for ceremonies. We offer solo piano, solo guitar and flute/piano duo.

Q. Do you set up your equipment quietly so my guests are not disturbed?

The entire sound system is set up prior to the room opening for your guest. Vocalists and musicians with only hand-carried bags may arrive a few minutes before starting.

Q. How do you manage volume levels?

We play to the sensitive needs of our clients. Our sound system will accommodate any size room. If, during the event, you feel the music is too loud or too soft, just let us know.

Q. Who will make the announcements and introductions?

We are frequently asked to do the Bridal Party introductions and our sound system is available for speeches, toasts, blessings, and any special announcements.

Q. Do you play during dinner and cocktails?

Yes. We offer solo piano, 6 piece jazz, or recorded music.

Q. How many breaks do you take?

Our orchestra takes two 15-minute breaks during our standard 3 hours of dance music.

Q. What types of music do you play?

The Chicago Rhythm Review provides a variety of styles such Motown, R & B, Rock & Roll, Jazz, Blues, Disco, and Latin.


Q. Do you play songs not included on your song list?

The Chicago Rhythm Review promises to make your event special. Upon request from you, we will honor that special song you may want.

Q. Do you play ethnic music?

Our orchestra books contain a wide variety of ethnic styles: Italian, Irish, Polkas, Jewish. We can also learn a special song for your event.

Q. When must I commit to booking the orchestra?

To insure that the date is available, a verbal commitment is needed as soon as possible. Within 7 days we will forward you a contract for you to sign and return to us with a $500.00 deposit to be used towards the balance.

Q. When is payment due?

The remainder of the balance is due 7 days prior to your event.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

We will accept a personal or corporate check, cash, money order
or cashiers check.
